The Animal Protection Institute has established a 186-acre Primate Sanctuary, located near San Antonio, Texas, that is currently home to more than 400 primates, many of whom were rescued from abusive or exploitative situations. The Sanctuary now enables snow monkeys, vervets, and baboons to meet -- some for the very first time -- their wide range of innate physical, social, and psychological needs.
